Overview

The Research Ethics Review program protects the public by enabling scientific and ethical review of research proposals submitted by registered Alberta physicians who are conducting research involving human subjects. 

What's New

Research Ethics Review Committee (RERC) 

The Research Ethics Review Committee (RERC) assesses research proposals submitted by Alberta physicians and provides scientific and ethical feedback to investigators. The RERC must approve the proposal before it can proceed. All research must be in compliance with laws and other requirements for research involving human subjects.
