Are you eligible? Before you start, save money by answering a few questions

The Health Professions Act

As of January 1, 2010, Alberta physicians are regulated under new legislation called the Health Professions Act (HPA).  Under the HPA, College registration categories have changed to better reflect the nature of a physician's medical practice.

For the majority of physicians, this is an administrative change by the College that has no impact on our members' medical practice. There is no need for physicians to contact the College and all members will receive an email or letter clarifying their individual situation.
