Council Executive Roles and Responsibilities
| 1. | The Executive Committee of the Council consists of a president, a vice-president and one other appointed member of the Council. |
| 2. | The Executive Committee meets regularly with the Registrar and reports its actions and recommendations to Council. |
| 3. | The Executive Committee deals with:
(a) all matters that are delegated to it by Council,
(b) all matters that require attention between meetings of Council, and
(c) the duties assigned to the Executive Committee by the Health Professions Act and the Bylaws of the College. |
| 4. | Two members of the Executive Committee constitute a quorum. |
| 5. | The Executive Committee has no power to alter, repeal or suspend any Council bylaw. |
| 6. | The Executive Committee initiates and conducts a formal job performance appraisal of the Registrar and receives annual reports from the Registrar on the performance appraisals of the senior secretariat. |
